The Frankenmuth Jaycees currently hosts two popular races—Winterläufe and Volksläufe—that bring hundreds of runners, walkers, and supporters to our community throughout the year.

Winterläufe: Inspired by the German word for "Winter's Race," this 8K is typically held the Saturday after Snowfest in early February, offering a fun challenge for runners ready to brave the cold. Learn more and register here.

Volksläufe: Meaning "The People's Race," this multi-distance road race is a highlight of our summer, happening on the Fourth of July. It features pre-race festivities, including a lively night of fireworks, followed by distances for every level—5K, 10K, NEW Half Marathon, and a 2K Kid’s Fun Run. Find out more here.

Brückeläufe: Once part of our race series from 2012 until 2019, this beloved Bridge Race offered both a 5K and half marathon course, crossing our iconic local bridges.
