About

The Frankenmuth Jaycees are part of JCI (Junior Chamber International), the world’s premier volunteer organization for young professionals. Founded in 1915 by Henry Giessenbier Jr., the Jaycees started as a social group for young men. In 1984, the organization made history by opening its doors to women following a landmark U.S. Supreme Court ruling.

Since 1961, the Frankenmuth Jaycees have provided countless opportunities for members to get actively involved in creating a stronger, more vibrant community. Through our skills, resources, and dedication, we organize various community events and fundraisers, such as the World Expo of Beer and the Jaycee races. All proceeds from these initiatives are either donated to local charities or invested back into building our chapter’s mission.

Our vibrant community is made up of members aged 21 to 40, all united by a shared passion for philanthropy, community service, and skill-building. Joining our chapter is easy—there are no sponsorships or formal applications required. Whether you’re looking to make a difference, grow your leadership skills, or simply connect with like-minded individuals, the Frankenmuth Jaycees is the perfect place to belong.
